HORSERIDING HIKE IN MEDOC NEAR BORDEAUX FRANCE   Ride through the “Pointe du Medoc” and discover an incomparable place, between seaside and marshes. This horse-riding hike will lead you from the Gironde Estuary to the beaches of the Atlantic ocean.   Experience : horse-riding hike in Medoc – 1 day (approx. 5 hours)   A professional team will welcome you in a stud farm and will show you the horses : all of them are of an Arab origin and were brought up in the region. You will leave at about 10am and ride to the Gironde Estuary where you will cross the alluvium lands of the little Camargue from the Bordeaux area, with its dykes and the huts of the fishermen: you will be able to observe the specific animal life and flora of this region, and you will be fascinated by the wild landscapes.   You will discover the mattes, impressive polders where the land level is lower than the sea level. Then you will cross “the moors from the Gironde”, a huge pinewood where the trees do not manage to cover the sound of the waves, with the ocean being very close. You will then enjoy hiding along the beaches before going back to the stud farm.   Participants and guests :   You will ride among a small group up to ten people.   Conditions and restrictions :   §          Horse-riding experience is not required.  §          You need to take in one bag a knife, a torch, a raincoat, a camera, practical trousers and shoes, a helmet (it can be lent on site). §          This hike is done in suitable weather conditions.
