Course of the scuba diving in the caves of Choranche

- Initiation to scuba diving: You will be taken care of by two instructors, one in the water, the other one outside the water. After the briefing, you are fully geared with waterproof equipment. Once in the water, an instructor takes you to a magnificent and sensational 20 minutes exploration with spotlights. Easy to access, the underground lake, with various concretions and basins, allow an easy dive, and let you get back to the surface whenever. The depth is 6 metres long and the water is as clear as mineral water. The exploration ends with a “breathtaking” passage into a superb canyon which has been shaped by water.
- Tea time when you receive a diving certificate

After the diving, you can lunch at the scenic point restaurant and do a guided visit into the caves (non-included on the price)

Participants

This scuba diving in the caves of Choranche is done in little groups.

- This experience can be shared by up to 24 people per day.
- Please note that the experience is organised from 10 people minimum.

Conditions and restrictions

- The experience is accessible to all whatever your diving level. The minimum age required is 14.
- The experience is organised from 10 people minimum.

Weather

This experience is available by any weather conditions. However, the supplier may cancel the experience no later than the previous day of the experience day if weather conditions generate a rise of the water level of the underground lake.

The scuba diving in the caves of Choranche is available every day from the end of April to the end of September.

- Access by train : TGV trainstation Saint-Marcel-les-Valence (40mn)
- Access by air : airport Lyon-Satolas (1 hour) or airport Grenoble Saint Geoirs (50mn)

Validity

This experience is valid up to 12 months from the purchase date in the time window mid-April, mid-September.
