Lo Convento do Espinheiro in which you will be welcomed is a Portuguese historic monument. It is a former convent built in the fifteenth century and which was transformed into a luxurious 59-room hotel within an eight-hectare garden. The rooms which are full of character and the charm of the place, surrounded by the luxuriant vegetation of the countryside, will add to your well-being feeling.
There are three restaurants and a wine bar in the convent, and all are located in original places such as the cloister, the former kitchen of the monks, or the gothic water deposit. You can also find a gastronomic restaurant in the old wine-cellar.
